The Cadet Hotel in Miami Beach is a magical place for pianists due to its intimate, artistic atmosphere and historic charm, property of MIPF's board member Dr. Vilma Viaggi.
Its connection to the arts and music, along with its cozy, vintage ambiance, creates an inspiring environment where pianists can immerse themselves in their craft while surrounded by the elegance of classic Miami Beach. Cadet Hotel is placed at the heart of the city, where there is a hectic cultural and gastronomical offer.
Participants of the MIPFA Winter Program will be able to completely focus on this magical musical experience, not having to worry about housing, meals while enjoying the warm weather during the high winter season in Miami Beach.
Once enrolled, accommodations, meals and leisure activities are all covered by the MIPFA. The tuition fee includes:
• Room and board for the duration of the program within the Cadet Hotel’s facilities (single) and double/triple rooms at the Tradewinds Apt-Hotel (~12 min. walking from the Cadet Hotel). All lessons and masterclasses happen at the Cadet Hotel,
• Three meals a day (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner), happening at the Cadet Hotel.
• Receptions before a selection of the faculty concerts.
All Private Lessons and Practice time will take place at Cadet Hotel.
Students at the MIPFA will enjoy daily time-framed practice time at designated studios within the Cadet Hotel.
Likewise, all lessons will take place in the same building. Dorms are distributed between the Cadet Hotel and the Tradewinds Apt-Hotel, which is in walking distance from the Cadet..
The Miami Beach Art Deco District is famous for its colorful 1920s-1940s buildings, featuring bold geometric shapes, neon lights, and vintage charm, making it a lively cultural hub in South Beach.
Itinerary 1 - Flying to Miami International Airport
Ideal for participants coming from overseas
1. Fly to Miami International Airport
2. Take the MIA Mover towards Miami International Airport Station (3 min, no stops)
3. Take bus 150 towards Miami Beach, Collins Av & 17th Street (34 mins, 11 stops).
4. Walk 2 minutes to the hotel.

Itinerary 2 - Flying to Fort Lauderdale Airport
Ideal for participants coming from the US (cheaper domestic flights).
1. Fly to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport
2. Take the RedCoach bus service towards Miami - stops in Miami Airport.
3. Take the MIA Mover towards Miami International Airport Station (3 min, no stops)
4. Take bus 150 towards Miami Beach, Collins Av & 17th Street (34 mins, 11 stops).
5. Walk 2 minutes to the hotel.
