Inspired by this amazing experience in the Academy in Italy, Dr. Vilma Biaggi, one of our most ardent supporters and board members, the Winter Program of the MIPFA takes place at the charming Miami South Beach Boutique Hotel with a historical elegant European style combined with the warm, soft sand, gentle breezes of the beach create a unique and inspiring atmosphere for pianists.

Thanks to the Funding partnership of the City of Miami Beach and in partnership with the CADET HOTEL the Miami International Piano Festival’s internationally acclaimed Piano Academy inaugurated its annual winter residence in Miami Beach, January 2-8, 2023.

The Academy brought a group of up to 24 students from across the globe to reside and study with some of the world’s greatest classical keyboard masters.

Nightly concerts were offered, all free of charge allowing residents and visitors to Miami Beach to experience the spectacular talent amassed for the week.

All the activities and recitals were captured, and a special documentary film  documented this important event.
