More than 30 students, faculty and guest artists will convene at the Miami International Piano Festival Academy (MIPFA) this summer for an unparalleled three-week exposure to piano playing. Through the experience and insights of international performing artists in the faculty, participants will be exposed to state-of-the-art piano teaching, encouraging students to think independently toward the goal of developing individualism and self-reliance in a supportive and relaxed atmosphere. Five participants in the MIPFA will be selected to perform in the regular season of the Miami International Piano Festival.
The Annual Fund is the single most important source of revenue for the MIPFA. Gifts to the Annual Fund provide assistance to every aspect of the organization’s operations: student financial aid, faculty housing and compensation, production costs, and numerous other expenses.
